Dark and brooding, loads of black cherry and purple plums greet you from the glass. The distinct pepper of this shiraz is softened slightly by the small amount of viognier that is co-fermented. The finish is powerful, with notes of cedar wood, kalamata olives, and clove. The tannins are powerful but not aggressively so. Perfect with cured meats and game!
