Slightly smoky and flinty, with lots of almost-ripe red cherry and strawberry to add fruit weight. The tannin is immediately present but not overpowering, and the cedar wood and cinnamon spice from the use of oak really round out the palate. Great length and drinkability. Cellar for a few years (if you can bear to hold off drinking).
