The soil characteristics have come through in the style of wine we have today. The palate is fine but firm, with great acidity, texture and length. This wine is rich in flavour, yet very refined."

Bold, powerful, oaky chardonnay. The use of new French oak provides some nice structure to the mouthfeel and subtle sweetness of clove and vanilla. Plenty of citrus, orchard flowers, and white nectarine provide the fruit element, with the driving acid and touch of creaminess playing off each other. A wonderfully complex and age-worthy wine, can be cellared for 10 years by those with enough restraint.
