Great value for money from this exceptional domaine in the Loire Valley. Bourgueil is known for producing powerful and concentrated expressions of Cabernet franc, however this is much more delicate and subtle. Lovely red currants, blackberries, and bramble up front, with earthiness and peppery oregano on the finish. The tannins are strong but fine, as is the acid, making for all around easy and enjoyable drinking.
