A pleasant minerality gives this vintage structure and purity. The palate is rich, powerful and concentrated with velvety smooth tannins."

This second-growth Bordeaux is everything you want when looking for a wine from this region. Plenty of black and red fruits, new oak flavours of vanilla and sweet baking spices, loads of tannin and acid, it is powerful yet elegant. Rauzan-Ségla describes it as being an iron fist in a velvet glove, and we couldn't agree more. Despite being 15 years of age, this is still incredibly youthful. Can comfortably be cellared for another 15+ years.
